Deborah Gatchel
Deborah Gatchel is passionate about helping fellow believers connect with Scripture and understand who they are in Jesus Christ. Having grown up in a broken home, she learned early to look to the strength and faith of Biblical figures as a guide for navigating a broken world. Through every season, Jesus has remained her constant foundation.
She loves bringing the Bible to life by exploring how God worked through the real struggles of real people, showing that His faithfulness has never changed. Her study of Biblical history and archaeology has added depth and richness to her understanding of Scripture, strengthening her confidence in the unchanging character of God.
Deborah seeks to live her life as an offering to her Savior. She serves in multiple capacities in her local church and has ministered in Ghana, West Africa for several years.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Vanguard University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi.
Deborah and her husband, Daniel, have five daughters, all of whom have graduated from their homeschool. They live on the Texas Gulf Coast, where they enjoy camping, family game nights, and do their best to avoid the beach.
