Deborah Gatchel
Deborah Gatchel is a woman of many hats: wife, homeschool mom, missionary, teacher, and forever a grateful daughter of the Most High. While life has thrown her many curve balls, Jesus Christ has been her constant foundation. She has always taken hope in seeing God work through the real struggles of the real people in the Bible. Her recent studies into Biblical history and archeology have added a deeper layer of understanding to the pages of scripture, strengthening her faith in the Faithful God Who never changes.
Deborah aims to make her life an offering to her Savior. To that end, she serves in Children’s Church and on the board of her local homeschool support group and has ministered in Ghana, West Africa for several years.
Deborah graduated from Southern California College (now Vanguard University) with a Bachelor's degree in education, later specializing in Early Childhood Education. She then went on to earn a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi.
Deborah and her husband, Daniel have five girls, three of whom have graduated from their homeschool. They live on the Texas Gulf Coast where they enjoy camping and family game nights while doing their best to avoid the beach.
