Deborah Gatchel

Deborah Gatchel is a woman of many hats: wife, homeschool mom, missionary, teacher, and forever a grateful daughter of the Most High. While life has thrown her many curve balls, Jesus Christ has been her constant foundation. She has always taken hope in seeing God work through the real struggles of the real people in the Bible. Her recent studies into Biblical history and archeology have added a deeper layer of understanding to the pages of scripture, strengthening her faith in the Faithful God Who never changes.

Deborah aims to make her life an offering to her Savior. To that end, she serves in Children’s Church and on the board of her local homeschool support group and has ministered in Ghana, West Africa for several years.

Deborah graduated from Southern California College (now Vanguard University) with a Bachelor's degree in education, later specializing in Early Childhood Education. She then went on to earn a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi.

Deborah and her husband, Daniel have five girls, three of whom have graduated from their homeschool. They live on the Texas Gulf Coast where they enjoy camping and family game nights while doing their best to avoid the beach.

Mission

We provide quality literary materials encouraging the Body of Christ to walk in wholeness, holiness, and victory.

Vision

Individuals and families using our materials will develop regular Bible study habits and apply the Word of God to their lives to walk in greater wholeness, holiness, and victory.

What We Believe

WE BELIEVE the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

WE BELIEVE that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.

WE BELIEVE in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal future return to the earth.

WE BELIEVE in the creation by God, in the fall of man and original sin, and that man is spirit, soul, and body.

WE BELIEVE that the only means of being forgiven and cleansed from sin is repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

WE BELIEVE in the ordinances of the church, which are water baptism by immersion and communion, the Lord’s Supper.

WE BELIEVE in the baptism of the Holy Spirit for believers who ask for it. We also believe in the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

WE BELIEVE in life after death, in heaven and hell.

WE BELIEVE in the Blessed hope, which is the second coming of Christ, and in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost.

Ministry Partnership

I am blessed to be a ministry partner with The Fellowship International (TFI).

Who We Are

The Fellowship International (TFI) is a family/network of churches and ministries connected by a common vision and a desire to partner together in order to propagate the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We bring a Christ-centered message, believing this message of Christ and His finished work is God’s one Gospel and His mandate to His Church. If we are going to make an eternal difference in our world, we must preach a Christ-centered message and live a Christ-centered life.

TFI provides a place for pastors, churches, and ministry leaders to find accountability, counsel, help, encouragement, and direction. Churches and ministries already affiliated with a denomination or network receive the same benefits as full partners in the network but without a violation of their commitment and accountability to those in authority over them.

OUR VISION

“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.”

Habakkuk 2:14

THE OUTWORKING OF OUR VISION

For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 CORINTHIANS 4:6
